2 women charged in debit, credit fraud after stealing victim’s wallet

Two ladies from Ontario are dealing with fraud fees after a sufferer had her pockets stolen as she shopped at a Walmart in Ajax.

Durham Regional Law enforcement officials responded to a theft on the Walmart situated at 270 Kingston Street East on September 26, 2023.

Police mentioned a lady had her pockets stolen as she shopped, and her debit and bank cards have been later used at numerous areas in Ajax and Toronto for fraudulent purchases.

Investigators tracked the purchases and recognized two feminine suspects and a suspect automobile. Each ladies have been arrested on the scene.

They have been recognized as 22-year-old Shayla Rogers and 47-year-old Samantha Stevens, each of Ajax.

The ladies face mixed fees together with theft below $5,000, fraud below $5,000, and possessing property obtained by crime below $5,000. They have been launched on an enterprise.
