NEW YORK — Nationwide Grid is asking prospects to chop again on pure gasoline use due to the cold weather.
Clients in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island had been impacted on Saturday, however the utility says it is now OK to return thermostats to common settings.
Nationwide Grid continues to be asking prospects to restrict use of gasoline home equipment, like fireplaces and garments dryers, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. by Wednesday.
