VANCOUVER – The Vancouver Canucks have introduced that right-winger Ilya Mikheyev is about to endure season-ending knee surgical procedure.
Canucks basic supervisor Patrik Allvin says the 28-year-old ahead suffered a tear within the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee within the staff’s first pre-season sport again on Sept. 25.
Mikheyev will endure the surgical procedure subsequent week and is anticipated to be prepared for coaching camp within the fall.
He was initially listed as week-to-week with the harm and performed 45 regular-season video games, amassing 13 targets and 15 assists.
Mikheyev scored in his ultimate look of the marketing campaign Friday, a 5-2 Canucks victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The native of Omsk, Russia, signed a four-year, US$19-million contract with Vancouver as a free agent final summer season.
