KYIV (Reuters) – Three folks had been killed by Russian strikes on the southern Ukrainian metropolis of Kherson on Sunday that broken a hospital and a college, the regional administration stated.
“Right now’s Russian shelling injured 9 folks: three folks died (two males and one girl), six had been injured,” the administration wrote on the Telegram app.
“On account of enemy shelling, a lot of civil infrastructure objects had been broken: the Kherson Regional Medical Hospital, a college, a bus station, a publish workplace, a financial institution, and residential buildings,” it wrote in an earlier publish.
Kherson was occupied by Russian troops from the early days of Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine till its recapture by Kyiv’s forces in November.
Since its liberation, town has commonly been shelled from Russian positions throughout the Dnipro river.
